Archisand at the Dana Point Festival of Whales Sandsculpture
Archisand is making our first appearance at the Dana Point Festival of Whales! The Dana Point Festival of Whales draws over 100,000 visitors in the first two weeks of March every year. The whales are already here and in numbers larger than in recent memory. This year Archisand will lead a large group of community volunteers to construct an amazing Festival of Whales sand sculpture at Baby Beach, Dana Point Harbor. Archisand will be working hard on the sand sculpture Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th, all day, both days. Archisand will also be conducting free workshops on how to build sand sculptures. The Annual Festival of the Whale sand castle competition will be held Sunday, March 4th and is open to the public. Visit the Festival of Whales website for more details. We will illuminate the Whale Sand Sculpture at night with colorful LED lighting! It will be a must see event! Please come see us at Baby Beach – Dana Point Harbor! Come by and volunteer it is a great day in the sand! We are also proud to benefit The Bridge Teen Recovery program through our sponsorship. The Bridge Teen Recovery helps Teens, one family at a time. The bridge will have a booth set up at Baby Beach to share information about how they are helping teens in south Orange County. They will also have a booth at the “Whale of A Block Party”on Saturday March 3rd, from 10 am to 5 pm. The sculpture theme will be centered around the Whale and other sea life. Below is the preliminary concept sketch for the Sand Sculpture: We can’t wait to see you at the Dana Point Festival of Whales!
